Since 2008, Eden Day has been striving to help kids LOVE to learn.
She was a passionate special education and literacy intervention teacher who taught students from kindergarten to fifth grade. Her enthusiasm for teaching with differentiation, relationship building and thinking outside of the box has contributed to her students’ academic successes.
Eden is a born and raised Phoenician. After graduating from high school in 2003, she decided to stay in town and attend Arizona State University. In 2008, she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. She then got a job teaching K/1/2 in the SUSD. She later moved to Denver, Colorado with her husband. There, she received her endorsement in special education and her MA in Equity, Bilingualism, & Biliteracy with an emphasis in Culturally & Linguistically Diverse Education from The University of Colorado. While furthering her education, she was teaching in Denver Public Schools as a special education teacher and literacy interventionist. After 11 years, AZ called Eden and her family back home. Fate would have it that she would have the opportunity to continue The Art of Learning for her dear friend Elizabeth.
Eden loves working with children in helping them succeed! She also loves reading, traveling, and spending time with her husband and two daughters, preferably on the beach.
Courtney has been in the educational field for eight years. To which, every second she has enjoyed! She has a "sixth sense" when it comes to children. Courtney's love for teaching is shown through her interactions with each student, while building strong relationships and making her lessons fun and engaging.
"Being a teacher is the most gratifying and incredible job to have. Love who you are, love what you do, because what you do, reflects who you are!"
